Reporting directly to the VP, HR Corporate Functions, the Sr. Manager, HR – Corporate will provide highly effective HR support for several Corporate functions including close business partnership with the executive leadership team member responsible for the function, the function leadership teams, and all managers and employees in the functions.

This role will serve as a business partner, advisor and coach to the function leadership teams, while also being directly engaged in HR execution, and the brokering and effective delivery of HR solutions with the support of COE and Shared Service colleagues.

This role will closely partner with these colleagues to identify needs and opportunities, plan, and effectively deliver HR support in critical areas such as Engagement, Talent Development, Culture, Diversity-Equity-Inclusion, and Organizational Effectiveness. This is a critical role that will contribute both strategically and hands-on as we continue to dramatically grow the company, deliver top-tier HR support for our corporate functions, and build HR functional excellence.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Effectively partner with functional leaders to drive positive, business-impacting change, aligning human resources programs and initiatives with strategic objectives and annual operating plans.
  • Serve as a performance coach for functional leaders to ensure the leadership team is highly effective in improving organizational capability and delivering increasingly higher value to our businesses and the overall company.
  • For any acquisitions with a Corporate component, lead HR aspects of M&A integration.
  • Collaborate with COE and Shared Services partners in the design, development, deployment and continuous improvement of effective, sustainable HR processes and programs that enable business success.
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues in various businesses and regions to deliver highly effective, highly responsive HR solutions to functional managers and employees whether they report up through Corporate or through one of the Business Units.
  • Lead all aspects of the Talent Review Excellence (TRX) process for in-scope functions.
  • Effectively collaborate with Talent Acquisition and hiring manager colleagues to fill open roles with the best talent as quickly as possible, while coaching partners on, and ensuring adherence to, the TA process.
  • Utilize effective change management approaches to ensure continuous improvement and other types of change are effectively implemented with minimal disruption to leaders, employees and other stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required. Master’s degree (MBA, Master’s in HR, etc.) is preferred, but not required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of increasing responsibility in a progressive HR environment.
  • Minimum of 5 years as an HR Business Partner in a global environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in coaching leaders and managers on building talent, engaging teams, driving culture change and strategic growth of businesses and organizations.
  • Demonstrated success in building talent / organizational solutions in service of business strategy and creating value through people that impacts business results.
  • An analytic mindset, using data to inform and influence outcomes.
  • Direct experience supporting businesses or functions in a global matrix environment.
  • Demonstrated success in creating an environment of trust with business partners where integrity is unquestioned.
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing and communications skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant employment laws in NA.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in an industrial company.
  • Direct experience in manufacturing and commercial environments.
  • HR certifications are also a strong plus.
