Solutions Analyst

As a Solutions Analyst at ALDI, you will be helping to lead and support a brand new Information Governance Program. The Solutions Analyst reports to the IT Manager and is responsible for managing projects supporting Information Governance and implementing program components (program policies and standards, retention schedule, communications to employees, education and training, compliance and program assessment). The ideal candidate for this role will be a self-starter, team player, and is able to lead projects working across functional teams. As ALDI reviews and improves its information governance standards fostering a compliance culture, you will be responsible for the governance of electronic records, including monitoring of compliance with information governance policies and assisting with data classification and information sharing practices. Understanding the value of data, as well the policies that support data usage and data repositories, the ideal candidate will need to have experience developing and improving methods of compliance monitoring. It will be necessary for the chosen candidate to have experience creating retention schedules, and ensuring all Governance standards are met, meeting best in class policy standards. As this role will be visible to all business partners, and/or leaders, we are looking for someone that has excellent communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to present to and train diversely skilled audiences. As a Solutions Analyst at ALDI supporting information governance, your input, ideas, recommendations, evaluations and improvements will be valued.


Position Type: Full-Time


This role is eligible to participate in ALDI’s Hybrid Work Program, which allows remote work up to 3 days per week (i.e., work remotely up to 3 days per week; work in-office at least 2 days per week)


Duties and Responsibilities:

Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Identifies project issues and recommends corrective action as appropriate.

• Participates in the evaluation and recommendation of the use of off-the-shelf or custom developed software.

• Provides input to their direct leader concerning personnel hiring and performance.

• Recommends process improvements for area of responsibility.

• Manages national projects of lesser scope.

• Maintains a thorough understanding of business processes; identifies and recommends changes to related software and hardware to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

• Assists in communicating and modeling the overarching company strategy and core values of the organization to create a proper work environment and sense of teamwork among employees.

• Adheres to and assists their direct leader in ensuring compliance standards, policies, and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job, including all project management related responsibilities.

• Prepares user documentation, bulletins and corresponding program updates for distribution to all relevant users.

• Ensures national programs meet requirements for security and integrity of information.

• Coordinates with national and international project delivery including documentation, testing, training, deployment and maintenance of new or existing software/hardware solutions.

• Supports the overall Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) service management processes for software and hardware solutions.

• Maintains, manages and understands user requirements and issues, participates in project or committee meetings as required.

• Reports on project health on international and national projects of lesser scope.

• Supports project managers in the delivery of project objectives and deliverables.

• Coordinates with international colleagues to manage international projects for national rollout.

• Acts as a knowledge source and mentor for team members.

• Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to leadership.

• Upholds the security and confidentiality of documents and data within area of responsibility.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree or a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge required.

• A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in Business or Information Technology required.

• Experience in project management, execution and training for diversely skilled groups of end-users on Information Governance topics - including database/system/email/M365 retention deployment and large-scale data migrations.

• Experience preferred in contract review processes associated with data privacy legislation compliance, confidentiality, and the assessment of third-party data handling.

• Experience preferred with Microsoft 365 & Compliance Center, OneTrust, and the application of legal holds (mobile devices, Windows file systems, Microsoft cloud).

• Experience preferred in information usage policy development and end-user compliance training. 

• Certified Information Professional (CIP) or IGP (Information Governance Professional) certification preferred.


Physical Requirements:

• Work is performed in an office environment where a computer, telephone and other office equipment are used as needed to perform duties.

• Regularly required to sit, reach, grasp, stand and move from one area to another.

• Constantly and repeatedly use keyboard/mouse.

• Occasionally required to push, pull, bend, lift and move up to 25 lbs.


Travel:

• International & Domestic travel required.

• Up to 10%.
