The Pricing and Underwriting team is looking for a mid-career full stack developer, preferably with enterprise cloud experience, to meet a need within our Corporate Finance department. 


What you will do:

  • The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and collaborative full stack developer with experience in Java 8 (Spring Boot) and Javascript ES2015+ (React). 
  • Other technologies used include Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Kafka, Oracle, and Jenkins. 
  • The team has a strong culture of automation and unit testing, including jUnit, karma, jasmine, gulp, and webpack. 


What you need to do the job:

MUST be a current contractor with Cigna, Express Scripts or Evernorth

  • Strong background in object oriented software development Knowledge of modern, cloud-hosted, single page applications.
  • Previous experience with unit testing and automated builds and deploys Ability to write web services in Java using the Spring Boot framework.
  • Ability to write user interface software in Javascript using React Ability to write queries and design tables in Oracle.
  • Candidates must be team oriented and relational, as the existing team values collocation and collaboration to enable high output and good business value.
  • Experience using Pivotal Cloud Foundry tools Experience using Jenkins to automate build, test, and deployments.
  • Previous experience using Kafka to build event-driven architecture between applications.
  • Familiarity with building applications in a large scale enterprise environment Ability to use Bootstrap 4 to build responsive user interfaces in React
