Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full Stack Developer with expertise in Spring Boot, MQTT, HiveMQ, Google Cloud, and Google MDE to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and high-performance software solutions.


RESPONSIBILITIES

What you’ll be able to do:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy robust and scalable full-stack solutions using Spring Boot as the backend framework.
  • Implement MQTT-based communication solutions to enable efficient and real-time data exchange between devices and systems.
  • Utilize expertise in HiveMQ to develop and maintain a reliable and high-performance messaging infrastructure.
  • Work with various Google Cloud services and technologies to architect, implement, and optimize cloud-based applications and services.
  • Integrate and leverage Google Managed Device Ecosystem (MDE) for efficient device management, monitoring, and deployment.
  • Design and implement database structures, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance.
  • Develop RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless integration between different components of the system.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews and implement best practices to ensure code quality, maintainability, and security.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for code, APIs, and system architecture.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and practices.


QUALIFICATIONS

The minimum requirements we seek:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field, or a combination of education and equivalent experience
  • 2+ proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with a focus on Spring Boot, MQTT, HiveMQ, Google Cloud, and Google MDE
  • 2+ experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks.

 

Our preferred requirements:

  • Advanced Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field, or a combination of education and equivalent experience
  • Strong proficiency in Java and relevant programming languages.
  • Experience with microservices architecture.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Google Cloud Certification
