Key Qualifications

5+ years of significant and recent Java/Scala
Knowledge of SQL and relational databases
Knowledge of Cassandra
Excellent communication and follow through
Experience building APIs
Aptitude and curiosity to learn exciting new technologies
Ability to design, develop and deploy large scale applications
Strong belief in automation and tooling as a critical part of the software lifecycle
Ability to drive a project from idea to implementation
BS Computer Science (Master's preferred)

Description

As a Senior level engineer on the dynamic AMP Pricing team, you'll support pricing and availability for all of Apple's digital content including apps, music, movies, and books on the App Store and iTunes Store- that's a lot of content! You will partner and collaborate with multiple engineering teams, business operations, production support, site reliability engineering, and quality assurance, infrastructure teams.

We want a multifaceted, self starting, upbeat individual who is not afraid to question assumptions with excellent written and oral skills.
