Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a Software Engineer in Danbury, CT.


Analyze software requirements and highly complex user needs to determine feasibility of a design within time and cost constraints. Participate on strategic projects within the organization with an ability to transfer knowledge to members of the team and act as an expert, value added resource. Use proven problem-solving abilities with a history of building reliable and high performance software solutions. Assure quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported areas. Coordinate maintenance of software systems and installation/upgrade of software systems. Develop, execute and manage the maintenance of security plans, risk assessments, recovery planning, and incident management, testing procedures, training and reporting on the execution of deliverables designed for program maturity. Develop original and innovative solutions to complex challenges. Be well-informed in general technology trends (Cloud, Web technologies etc.,) and be able to make recommendations based on our business needs.

Required Qualifications:

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, or related technical field plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related position involving software engineering experience.


Specific skills required:

  • 5 years of JavaEE experience
  • 5 years of SQL experience
  • 5 years of Siebel CRM implementation experience
  • 5 years of financial services industry experience
  • 4 years of experience in developing enterprise web applications using React JS with Redux
  • 3 years of UI (User Interface) experience
  • 3 years of Java Business Process Management (jBPM) experience
  • 2 years of Agile experience.
