Software Engineer

Mission Integration Analysis is looking for a talented developer that enjoys building innovative solutions to solve complex problems, enjoys working in a collaborative Agile environment to build timely and effective solutions for the customer, and interested in merging the complexities of software development, chemical engineering, and project management into to tools that allow near-term and long-term predictive modeling. Specifically, this position will support the development of a unique mission modeling tool that allows our users to graphically plan out work activities through a custom interface or determine the most optimal set of activities through the execution of user defined logic rules set.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:

  • Design, build, test, document, and maintain efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Proactively identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
  • Work in a team environment with collaborative design and peer reviews.
  • Solicit and maintain requirements, and adhere to software quality assurance standards.


Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree (BS) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, related technical discipline or successful completion of degree by June 30, 2021.

Experience in C#, MS SQL, or some flavor of JavaScript


Desired Qualifications

  • Familiarity with design and architectural patterns
  • Experience with WPF, XAML, and MVVM.
  • MS SQL Server, IIS Server, Visual Studio
  • Experience with industry standard software development tools such as Atlassian Jira, Azure Devops, and Subversion and/or Git revision control
  • Unit Testing Nunit and/or Nsubstitute
  • Familiarity with process modelling or scientific computing (e.g. Chem Engineering process models)
  • Familiarity with AI
