Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform all phases of software engineering including requirements analysis, application design, code development and testing
  • Design and implement product features in collaboration with business and stakeholders
  • Design reusable components, frameworks, and libraries
  • Work very closely with architectural groups and drive solutions
  • Participate in an Agile / Scrum methodology to deliver high quality software releases every 2 weeks through Sprints
  • Design and develop innovative solutions to meet the needs of the business
  • Review code and provide feedback relative to best practices and improving performance
  • Troubleshoot production support issues post deployment and come up with solutions as required
  • Willingness to adapt to new platforms and technologies as required
  • Collaborate with development and QA team
  • Help modernize application using newer technology stack such as Azure and Kubernetes

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (BS) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field or related experience
  • 3+ years of IT industry experience 
  • 3+ years of experience in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including: requirements gathering, technical specifications, design, development, testing, and deployment
  • 2+ years of .NET / C#
  • 2+ years of experience with .NET Web API, MVC development
  • 2+ years of SQL relational database experience MS SQL Server preferred

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with web technologies (HTML, AngularJS, RESTful web services, etc.)
  • Experience in Full SDLC responsibilities leveraging mature industry languages, with particular emphasis on JavaScript
  • Hands-on experience developing in ServiceNow using JavaScript, creating catalog item and workflows, custom applications in ServiceNow Service portal framework
  • Hands-on experience with AngularJS, Service Portal widgets and pages
  • Fundamental understanding of the key technologies relevant to ServiceNow development. For e.g., Business Rules, Script Include, REST API, Import Sets, Workflow, Update sets etc.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks together with an awareness for evolving prioritization
