About Our Team
This position is for a Software Engineer in the Lenovo Data Center Product Group (DCG). This is an exciting role in the Cloud Service Provider (CSP) Development organization that has a strong focus to be the #1 trusted IT Partner in the DataCenter. The Data Center Group is innovating the future- defined data center, today. From the simplest to the most complex IT environments for all types of workloads, our servers, storage, networking and solutions help maximize the potential of data centers.
What You'll Do
- Work with customers, system architects and engineers to lock down tools requirements
- Function document writing
- Script programming and unit testing
- Setup test environments for remote access
- Track PA’s reported issues
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering or technical related discipline
- 5+ years of programming experience with Powershell and Python
- Must have development experience on server or storage products
- Experience with stress/performance testing, and industry testing tools
- Familiar with industry specification, e.g. Redfish, IPMI, I2C, etc
- Experience with storage systems, e.g. JBOD/JBOF
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiar with X86 architecture
- Familiar with automation test process
- Familiar with windows system and OS system issue debugging
- Excellent communication skills
