  • Exhibit depth of knowledge and familiarity with technologies to identify and deliver innovative technical solutions that meet business needs and scale with growth.
  • Guide juniors members to build sustainable architectures and establish guidelines for best-practices and instill a culture of quality and craftsmanship.
  • Dive deep and take ownership for critical designs, maintain and develop new applications using Java by utilizing AWS based services. • Work backwards from customer problems, figure out solutions, and implement them for speed and scalability.
  • Work closely with technical (engineering and business) teams in an agile environment to deliver the best technical designs and approaches. • Produce clear and comprehensive software documentation. • Evaluate and make decisions around the use of new or existing software products and tools.


  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. College degree in related field preferred.
  • 7+ years of professional experience in software development in Java 8+.
  • Experience with AWS technologies including DynamoDB, Redshift , Lambda, ECS, SQS, SNS, S3.
  • Strong skills in Spring Framework.
  • Experience leading design, build and deployment of complex and performant (reliable and scalable) software solutions in production.
  • Deep understanding of scalable computing systems, software architecture, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Proven track record of successfully design, build, deliver and troubleshooting complex service-oriented systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to clearly and concisely communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.


  • Experience with front-end development.
  • AWS Architect Certifications
  • Experience with NextJs/React/Svelte.

This role is open to candidates physically located in the following metropolitan statistical areas: Austin, TX; Las Vegas, NV; New York, NY; and Seattle, WA. Candidates who are not physically located in one of these areas may not be considered for this role.

The expected base pay range for this position is $187,000-212,000 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.  In addition, a full range of medical and other benefits is offered.
