Social Media Strategist

With a proven track record of launching products and initiatives that move our industry forward, we’re building on our team of dynamic leaders who are ready to redefine clean skincare for everyone. The Social Media Strategist will be a key team member working with the Brand Marketing department to develop and execute strategies focused on increasing brand awareness, engagement, and driving traffic to our site and online communities. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, possessing both right and left-brain skills, with the ability to develop creative solutions to business challenges and then execute them flawlessly. They will possess a passion for social media and a love for personal care brands. This role will intensely collaborate with cross-functional Content, Creative, Digital, and Retail Merchandising teams and then focus on executing plans to support company initiatives.


Job Duties:

  • Manage all social media platforms on a daily basis, posting engaging brand and channel-appropriate content 
  • Partner with the Senior Content Manager to lead the strategy and execution of an imaginative and results-driven social presence, extending our DNA into a leading, social-first brand
  • Develop and execute social media strategies and day-to-day activities that grow following, engage our audience, and drive sales for the brand
  • Develop and manage an annual social roadmap, supporting key brand milestones, and product launches through innovative, share-worthy campaigns
  • Analyze, measure, and report on social media efforts, identifying and actioning opportunities for greater success
  • Stay abreast of trending topics and platform changes, actioning opportunities, and optimizing strategy in a timely manner
  • Manage an asset library, sourcing and organizing UGC
  • Partner with Influencer and Paid Social teams to ensure alignment on cross-promotional campaigns
  • Drive partnerships with like-minded brands for social campaigns and giveaways 
  • Partner with retailer social teams to push strategic co-marketing programs that drive brand objectives
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Content and Creative to coordinate social media content with the editorial, merchandise, and marketing initiatives


Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in social media marketing in beauty, wellness, or lifestyle for a consumer product brand
  • Possess strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit 
  • Possess excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for design 
  • Demonstrated success leading innovative and ROI-driven social initiatives from ideation through execution and reporting
  • Comfortable analyzing data and using insights to drive strategy 
  • Versed in all channels relevant to social-first beauty brands
  • Experience using platforms, tools, and programs related to social content creation, management, and publishing (Curalate/Bazaar Voice, Sprout) 
  • Graphic design experience a plus
