Social Media Strategist

Los Angeles, CA

Complex Networks is a global youth entertainment network spanning major pop culture categories including streetwear and style, food, music, sneakers and sports. Complex Networks is diversified around three pillars: advertising, e-commerce, and content where it creates and distributes original programming for Gen Z and Millennial audiences through premium distributors such as Netflix, Hulu, Turner, Corus, Facebook, Snap, YouTube, Roku and more. Additionally, Complex Networks generates revenue through a number of core business lines, including branded content and advertising, licensing, events, e-commerce, and agency consulting services.


You Will

  • Execute day-to-day publishing on ComplexCon social handles
  • Work alongside Experiential Brand Manager on community management, moderation, and DM management
  • Write and execute social strategy for ComplexCon, ensuring it aligns with company goals and initiatives
  • Work closely with design, experiential, social and promo— collaborating cross-functionally across multiple Complex Networks internal departments, serving as key social lead for ComplexCon
  • Track and confirm that all social promo is live across all designated social platforms
  • Monitor and communicate with Business Intelligence on performance, making necessary pivots as needed
  • Work closely with Director of Promo and Marketing Manager on master social rollout ensuring it aligns with larger initiatives
  • Request all social assets to be used to promote ComplexCon


You Have

  • 3-5 years of social media and marketing experience with a publisher or brand
  • Robust knowledge of clothing brands
  • A deep understanding of the artists, brands, and content Complex covers
  • Proactive, collaborative team player, ability to self-manage
  • Quick decision-making skills, works well under pressure + deadline driven
  • Must be able to work and travel to Long Beach, CA November 19-20
