We are seeking a full-time Social Media Specialist for our Los Angeles-based corporate office to support social media marketing for the WESTFADE line. As a Social Media Specialist, you will support, optimize, strategize and create content for our WESTFADE social channels. Within this role, you will be responsible for ideating content, monitoring, and engaging on all US social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Pinterest. This role will report into WESTFADE’s Product Director.
Born and raised in LA, West Fade is all about mixing iconic denim fades with the latest trends. With meticulous attention to detail in every fabric and wash, we reimagined each piece to capture the effortless style of the West Coast.
Responsibilities
- Increase followers and engagement for all social media accounts
- Ensure timely response to comments across all social accounts to foster better engagement with followers. Work closely with PR team to respond to negative comments and in crisis situations
- Create and execute social content for TikTok and Instagram to build engagement and following
- Act on trends on social media to ensure the brands’ social media stays relevant.
- Effectively use social media monitoring tools to spot opportunities to engage in trending topics and conversations
- Work closely with PR, Corp Comms, and social media teams from other global markets to ensure messaging remains on-brand while still being highly localized to the US market
Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience, with a demonstrable successful track record and proven ability to create captivating and relevant content
- Must have a successful track record of managing social media accounts
- Must be an expert at using the latest social media platforms and knowledge of trends and marketing tactics
- Understands best practices and restrictions across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest
- Experience building and executing social marketing campaigns and calendars
- An ideal candidate will be tenacious and agile and be able to adjust to the rapid changes
Nice to Have
- Fast fashion, eCommerce and/or apparel industry background
- Understanding of retail apparel trends
- Denim knowledge
Pay: $24.47/hour min. - $34.42/hour max.
