We’re looking for someone like that to:
- Help manage the social media presence and activities for one of the world’s most recognizable financial services brands
- Advise internal business partners on effective use of social media, including paid and organic campaign strategy and design, content creation, execution, targeting to specific audiences/regions, and success measurement
- Assist with day-to-day paid and organic social activities (writing copy, developing assets, setting up paid social media campaigns across multiple channels, monitoring audience engagement), aligning closely with other UBS’s other social media teams in regions around the world
- Work closely with senior leaders to develop and advise on LinkedIn presence and strategy, including editorial calendar management, execution, and analytics reporting
- Aggregate analytics and reporting activities on a weekly and/or monthly basis for organic social media activities across all corporate channels
- Obtain necessary reviews and approvals for social media content to ensure regulatory and internal compliance
- Assist in managing regional and global content calendars
- Support social media quality management (content, format, brand fit)
- Monitor and protect the firm’s reputation online, working with internal and external partners to track social media comments, brand sentiment, and activity within the online community
- Partner with governance and compliance teams to ensure UBS social media policy and regulatory requirements are observed throughout the firm

Your team
You’ll be part of UBS’s Corporate Communications team under Communications & Branding (C&B) Americas in New York. C&B Americas is a diverse team of experts who take pride in producing high quality, high impact communications for a variety of audiences.
We manage and advise on UBS’s social media and tracking/measurement on a regional level. As a social media specialist, you’ll play an important role in enhancing our overall brand recognition and management.
Your expertise
- Bachelor degree preferably in coursework with Communications
- At least 3 years of experience in Social Media (paid/organic, tactical/operational, and strategic), particularly LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube
- Able to run communications projects independently, keeping in close contact with business partners
- Excellent communicator, able to convey complex ideas in a clear and comprehensive way
- Solution-oriented self-starter accustomed to tight deadlines
- Strong writing skills
- Ideally, some familiarity with financial services
- Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator and similar design tools a plus
- Knowledge of Analytics (Adobe, Google Analytics) and Social Media tools (Sprinklr, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, etc.) preferred
