Social Media Manager

You will have significant independence and expected to have the autonomy to think on your feet and speak/act thoughtfully on behalf of the company.


We are searching for an ambitious and hard-working Social Media Manager who will create and own our social strategy. This is a critical role in our mission of creating a fun and engaging brand that our customers love.


Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy
  • Oversee day-to-day management of social media campaigns and ensure brand consistency
  • Ideate and create social-first content for Instagram, Twitter, Tiktok, and Pinterest
  • Collaborate with the team in creating engaging content in all shapes and forms, from giveaways, campaigns, collabs, etc.
  • Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing
  • Observe and analyze data to measure success and growth on various KPIs such as engagement rate, follower growth, etc.
  • QA all content before going live on all platforms and QA all copy as best as possible to assure maximum engagement
  • Escalate social media related issues to internal team members


Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience working in social media or creative as an individual, at a brand, or a well-respected agency
  • Knowledge of social platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Youtube, and TikTok
  • Proficiency in social listening tools
  • Excellent copywriting and editing skills, with the ability to engage audiences
  • Understanding of popular social networks – design, functionality, users
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • A high level of organization with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to be both a self-starter and a team player
  • Exceptional communication skills within the team and cross functionally
  • Deep affinity for brand identity, design, and visuals
  • Must be clever, funny, witty and smart!
