Social Media Manager

In this role, you will be responsible for publishing, moderation, real-time engagement and reporting across Voya’s Enterprise social media channels. You will also work closely with our agency partners and internal business stakeholders to help execute on Voya’s Social Media marketing strategies. You will leverage a social media management tool and use social listening to develop and distribute communications that turn social data into insights that inform future marketing strategies and business decisions.


Profile Responsibilities:

  • Serve as community manager on Voya’s social channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and more
  • Publish a robust calendar of social media content across a wide range of social channels
  • Execute real-time brand social communications with customers, fans, followers, advocates and social media influencers
  • Develop real-time content strategies in response to engagement opportunities found through social listening
  • Categorize ongoing Social engagements for strategic reporting & surface metrics and insights garnered from ongoing engagement monitoring for the sake of making marketing strategy recommendations
  • Assist Director Social in development and production of creative assets to support Voya Social activations
  • Manage and direct advertising, media, and creative agency partners for assigned Social projects from brief through in-market execution
  • Work with internal business stakeholders to help them execute their Social Media strategies including acting as a liaison between them and our external agency partners
  • Lead development of all internal and partner communications related to Social advertising and media initiatives , ensuring relevant assets are shared across the enterprise
  • Provide learning’s & best practices from Brand Social campaigns to the business units to quickly adopt into their future campaigns
  • Manage reporting of program metrics with media agencies, ensuring tracking is in place prior to launch to effectively capture results related to objectives and providing analysis with insights /learning for senior management including:
  • Social creative effectiveness and provide real-time course correction feedback when necessary
  • Campaign paid/organic results
  • Effect on brand awareness & business objectives


Knowledge & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, business management or related field.
  • 4-6  years  progressive experience either working at or managing creative and media agencies
  • At least 2 years of experience managing social media platforms and/or social media listening, publishing & monitoring technology
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proven ability to analyze data and effectively communicate insights
  • Demonstrated capability to translate marketing strategy to tactical execution
  • Must be passionate about quickly-evolving Social Media environment
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with cross-functional teams
  • Results driven, proactive & able to work autonomously 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment 
  • Detailed oriented
  • Problem solving attitude 
  • Comfort and confidence presenting programs and results to C-level manager


Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is Insert Market Low to Market High  89,000-133,000. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to the base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities based on each role to reward achievement of annual performance objectives.
