Social Media Manager

The Social Media Manager will work closely with World of Hyatt’s Senior Social Media Manager & Associate Social Media Manager, fellow Social Media Managers and the Global Director of Content Marketing + Social Media, as well as peers across the Digital, Brand, Communications and other departments, to ensure the content on Hyatt’s social platforms are a true reflection of World of Hyatt and the brands and supports social business goals. They will also have responsibility of ensuring any content being posted on social platforms is relevant to the platform and targeted to the appropriate audience.


  • Creating, curating and publishing social media content for World of Hyatt & several of Hyatt’s brand’s evergreen social media platforms
  • ​​Creation and maintenance of evergreen strategic plan and corresponding social content calendars ​
  • ​​Develop, execute and report on integrated brand campaigns, working cross-functionally with various departments to translate brand campaign objectives into social-first strategies and plans ​
  • ​​Manage development of photography and video content shoots for World of Hyatt and select brands - leveraging content creators, influencers and partners to create social-first content ​
  • ​​Leverage content creator & influencer partnerships as needed while reporting on various learnings and measurement of relevant KPIs ​
  • ​​Leverage user generated content into evergreen social media content via partner tool in unique ways​
  • ​​Partner with cross-functional teams to drive awareness, engagement and traffic through social media content and paid advertising ​
  • ​​Identify new trends and opportunities to develop social-first pilots for World of Hyatt & priority brands​
  • ​​Paid media management - create and manage ongoing monthly social campaigns on select platforms for World of Hyatt and various Hyatt brands in partnership with Paid Social Media Manager​
  • ​​Work closely with Digital Media team to ensure all paid media is in sync and complimentary to larger Digital Team efforts while directly aligning to Social Team’s business goals​
  • Demonstrate a commitment to Hyatt core values.

  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in a social media management role 
  • In-depth knowledge in both social media marketing and traditional marketing
  • Passion for travel, emerging social platforms and digital trends


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising, Communications, English or Tech-related

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • Prefer Photoshop or similar photo editing tools for content creation 
  • Prefer Sprinklr or similar Social Media Management Tool familiarity 

Computer Skills Needed to Perform this Job

  • General use of Microsoft products required
  • Native social media platforms required 

Additional Comments and Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with both organic and paid social media content on key platforms, i.e. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, hands-on experience with TikTok is a plus
  • Strong time management, communication and organizational skills 
  • Excellent writing and language skills
