We are looking for a Social Media Manager who can enhance our brands and build strong online communities through our various social media platforms. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and administering social media content that is designed to engage users and create an interactive relationship between consumers and our brands. The Social Media Manager should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our brand's views creatively. The successful candidate will also be required to collect and review social media data to develop more effective campaigns.   • Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
  • Design and implement a social media strategy to align with business goals
  • Set specific objectives and report on ROI
  • Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos, and news)
  • Work closely with other teams, like brand managers, digital marketing, and sales to ensure brand consistency and develop social media campaigns that help to achieve marketing and sales goals
  • Develop relevant content topics to reach target customers
  • Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy
  • Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
  • Monitor the brands' social media accounts and work closely with the Social Media Coordinator to build communities
  • Analyze the long-term needs of the company’s social media strategy and offer quarterly reports to the management and executive teams that outline any necessary changes to the digital marketing plan
  • Facilitate online conversations with customers and respond to queries
  • Manage and publish social media content
  • Researching audience preferences and discover current trends
  • Report on online reviews and feedback from customers and fans
  • Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics
  • Oversee social media accounts’ layout and regularly update
  • Suggest new ways to attract prospective customers, like promotions and competitions
  • Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network


Qualifications and Experience

  • Demonstrates creativity and documented immersion in social media. (Give links to profiles as examples)
  • Proven work experience as a Social media manager
  • Hands on experience in content management
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image, and video)
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
  • Knowledge of online marketing channels
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical and multitasking skills
  • Exceeds at building and maintaining influencer relationships, online and off
  • Demonstrates winning Social Customer Service techniques such as empathy, patience, advocacy, and conflict resolution
  • Ability to travel to events when needed
  • Possesses great ability to identify potential negative or crisis situation and apply conflict resolution principles to mitigate issues
  • Marketing degree or equivalent work experience
  • Examples of social media accounts and campaigns.
  • Deep understanding of cannabis culture and community
