Social Media Manager

The Select 7 is a lifestyle website that unlocks the world of today's tastemakers by exploring their 7 Select interests in the worlds of philanthropy, food, wellness + beauty, travel, fashion, interior design, and social media. Each week, the site highlights a new tastemaker and each day of the week the site breaks down that person's "Selects.” Past guests include fashion girl boss, Anine Bing, jewelry designer extraordinaire, Jennifer Fisher, Noa Santos, founder of interior design site Homepolish, along with many others such as Lydia Hearst, David Burtka, Candace Nelson and more.

We are looking for a social media manager. The ideal candidate is NYC-based a highly motivated digital and social expert who is outgoing, organized, quick and excited to help the company grow. These candidates will be instrumental in taking The Select 7 to the next level.

Ideally, you are:

• A self-starter with a keen sense of all social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and more.

• Editorially savvy, with a good eye for photography, graphic design, cohesive storytelling and more.

• Has a clean and sophisticated aesthetic and can do some design work.

• Understands social media analytics

• Quick and able with all forms of technology

• Responsible, driven and excited to grow a lifestyle brand.

• Someone with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Able to go with the flow and work in a non-traditional atmosphere.

• Someone who is constantly brainstorming

• Flexibility a must

• Meticulous in your work (but really.)

• Have a great sense of humor

• Not afraid to work hard and understand that the job is not a 9-5 and that we are building a company from the ground up so you MUST be an all hands on deck type of person.

• Experience with Planoly, RewardStyle, Canva, Squarespace, Later, Wordpress and other platforms a plus.
