SOCIAL MEDIA DIRECTOR

 

Scope of this Position:

Facile’s Social Media Director will be expected to develop strategies and execute plans to increase brand awareness from the ground up. The campaigns must acquire and foster loyal and engaged clients by driving market strategy and brand-creative touchpoints. Ready to think big, use data to guide your work, tell the facile story, and be comfortable challenging convention.

 

The ideal candidate enjoys delivering innovative marketing strategies, thrives in entrepreneurial (fast-paced) environments, and is eager to ideate, execute, and optimize campaigns that will bring Facile to the next level. He or she will also be an organized operational and strategic mind who can align branding with product goals and be obsessed with the consumer. The successful candidate must have proven success in the skincare industry.

 

 

Role + Responsibilities:

  • Lead development and implementation of marketing, advertising, and sales initiatives
  • Educate team on brand identity
  • Strategize all e-commerce efforts
  • Extensive knowledge in various digital marketing platforms
  • Able to see around the corner – creates (not follows) trends
  • Lead product launches, advertising campaigns, and pricing strategies
  • Find innovative ways to connect with target audiences
  • Work closely with social media, marketing, and editorial teams
  • Increase brand awareness and reach across multiple platforms
  • Direct analytical data gathering and marketing/consumer test strategies
  • Direct and oversee all design and advertising ventures
  • Create and adhere to marketing budgets
  • Train, and manage marketing team, including performance reviews
  • Present frequent progress reports to executives
  • Proactive, resourceful, and self-sufficient

 

Qualifications:

  • MBA/MS degree in Business, Marketing, or similar field
  • 3+ years of relevant marketing experience, ideally in the beauty industry (specifically skincare)
  • MUST have strong experience with social platforms, specifically TikTok and Instagram
  • Prior experience in a start-up or similar environment
  • A team player who can work both independently and collaboratively
  • A great storyteller and communicator who can build relationships with a diverse set of sponsors
  • Equal parts creative and analytical
  • Highly methodical, solutions-oriented, with strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently, prioritize, and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Possess enthusiasm, creativity, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a growth-mindset
  • Familiarity with partnerships and business development deal-making
  • Knowledge of affiliate and influencer marketing and industry best practices
