Social Media Coordinator
We are seeking to fill a critical role in the marketing group as a social media coordinator. This position reports to the social media manager. The role of a social media coordinator is to assist the social media manager with the administration involved with social media and helping to show the value of Sorenson brand within the corporate marketing mix.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Understand KPIs and define them specifically for social media
- Collaborate with designers or copywriters to provide attractive and informative SM campaigns
- Assist in developing and executing SM campaigns
- Monitor all social media content
- Track the performance of the campaign
- Keep up with technologies used in social media
- Use social media marketing tools
- Track customer engagement and SEO to optimize campaign content
- Assist with video editing and other SM post related creative work
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Travel Requirements
Travel Requirements: Less than 15%
Education
Minimum/Preferred
Preferred: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree in a marketing or communications
Experience
Minimum Years of Experience: 3 years of related social media curation
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong communication skills via phone, email and in person
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience setting up, managing, creating, and curating social media contents
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to coordinate projects across teams and departments
- Discretion with personal and confidential information
- Good judgement and ability to research options within short timeframes
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
- Able to sit/ stand for a long periods of time in an office environment
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, tools, and to handle other computer components
- Regular and predictable attendance required.
- Positive attitude, team player, good interpersonal communication skills and able to work across company departments.
