Social Media Coordinator

New York, NY

Specific responsibilities include:

Content Development

  • Lead social media (organic and paid) photo and video shoots 2+ times per month including owning the briefing and product selection processes as well as shoot preparation
  • Capture content at influencer events 2 times per year

 

Social Media

  • Build, optimize, and analyze organic social channels including Instagram (4-5x/week), TikTok (1-2x/week), Facebook (1x/week), Youtube Shorts (3x/week), and Google Web Stories (3x/week)
  • Assist in defining a cohesive social media strategy inclusive of brand-driving and sales-driving initiatives
  • Create and maintain a social calendar that aligns with product launches, promotions, partnerships, events and brand moments
  • Coordinate with brand team to develop copywriting skills aligned with the brand’s voice
  • Work collaboratively with internal creative, brand and performance teams to develop and execute integrated creative ideas, plans and strategies 
  • Research competition and identify emerging social media trends and features to identify areas of opportunity
  • Assist in community management: engage with the community and understand how to interact with Rebag’s audience; answer questions on Rebag product/services as they arise or reroute to customer service as needed
  • Monitor campaign KPIs regularly to understand effectiveness of strategies and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Assist in event production for influencer events 2 times per year including identifying brand-appropriate partners, vendors, and supplies, selecting and preparing product, and distributing checklists and recaps

 

Candidates

  • 2-3 years of internship or 1 year work experience in social media
  • Interest in and experience with luxury goods, Instagram and TikTok a must
  • Interest in understanding social media KPIs and ability to develop reports
  • A good visual eye and ability to develop and identify quality content
  • Excellent writer and creative thinker
  • Experience with social media scheduling and analytics tools like Curalate, Sprout Social, Sprinklr, Iconosquare, Dash Hudson
  • Startup minded, positive, hands-on attitude and nimble
  • Ability to prioritize and maintain a sense of urgency in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment

 

Hybrid: 2 days in office, 3 days WFH


Salary: $58,500 - $63,000
