The PepsiCo Foods North America (PFNA) D3 Digital Marketing & Social Media Team is looking for a strategic, results-oriented Social Media Community Manager & Content Creator who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative marketing environment. Contribute to the strategy and lead the activation of our social media marketing efforts. This role will support both proactive and reactive consumer response, social strategy, and content creation for a specified brand / brands within the internal agency team D3 at PFNA. The successful candidate will be a social media expert, responsible for applying the latest best practices in social media content creation and consumer engagement across a broad spectrum of social media platforms.


  • Lead social media community management, delivering 1:1 consumer response that builds brand affinity and drives engagement
  • Apply the latest social trends and performance insights gleaned through reporting to inform development of breakthrough social creative concepts to strengthen brand equity and establish an engaging presence
  • Partner with Social Strategist and Creative Team to create original Lo-Fi content to fuel engagement and performance across a variety of social media channels including TikTok, Twitter and Instagram
  • Support ad hoc social listening to deepen consumer understanding around specific topics and deliver insightful point of view back to Brand Team
  • Assist in developing social strategies for brands across the Frito-Lay portfolio through close partnerships with key Brand and Insights Team stakeholders
  • Collaborate with outside agencies and social media platform partners to ensure best-in-class execution always, everywhere


  • Minimum Qualification: Undergraduate Degree
  •  Preferred: Concentration in Marketing, Communications and/or New Media preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience working client-side in marketing or related discipline, at an ad or media agency, media platform, or publisher.
  • Strong consumer empathy & customer-centricity. Demonstrated ability to place the consumer at the heart of everything
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with others
  • Basic understanding of marketing strategy and ability to develop marketing tactics that deliver on brand objectives
  • Creative thinker who can bring a brand voice to life across a variety of social media touchpoints
  • Ability to think strategically, coupled with a pragmatic results orientation and proven track record of delivering strong tactical execution
  • Ability to tell a story, synthesize and convey key messages in a dynamic and compelling way (both externally to consumers and internally to key stakeholders)
  • Entrepreneurial mindset – willingness to roll up your sleeves and get creative in developing in-house Lo-Fi social media content
