Social Media Associate
Six Flags is looking for a Social Media Associate to come on board and lead the creation of innovative, engaging content to help build and maintain our brand. Must have a passion for creating engaging content that captivates audiences with an eye for design, a knack for storytelling, and a strategic mind that can navigate the ever-evolving landscape of social media platforms. Critical to bring a deep understanding of social media trends and analytics.
Job duties:
- Develop and execute innovative social media strategies across various platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and emerging channels.
- Create visually stunning and compelling content, including graphics, images, videos, and animations, that align with the brand's voice, tone, and style guidelines.
- Craft engaging and shareable written content, such as captions, headlines, and blog posts, to resonate with the target audience and drive meaningful interactions.
- Actively engage with the social media community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and authentic manner.
- Foster positive relationships with followers and influencers
- Monitor social media conversations, track brand mentions, and address customer inquiries and concerns professionally and empathetically.
- Regularly analyze social media performance using data and metrics to measure the success of campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
- Utilize insights to refine content strategies, optimize posting schedules, and increase overall engagement and reach.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Ability to travel, work late sometimes or weekends if content is needed
- Proven experience as a Social Media Coordinator or Associate manager with a track record of managing successful social media campaigns.
- Exceptional creativity and a strong eye for design
- In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, their algorithms, and best practices for audience engagement.
- Proficient in social media analytics tools and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and communicate with diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with industry-specific tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, etc., is a plus.
