The Social Media Assistant Manager will be responsible for driving awareness, consideration, and leads for Fifth Third through organic and paid social media support. This role will oversee day-to-day management of paid and organic social media campaigns, employee advocacy efforts, content development and social media strategies through various social media channels.


Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Strategy. Collaborate with Marketing Managers to develop, build, and optimize social media strategies that address social media objectives. Work strategically to understand business goals, connecting unique strategies and channels.  
  • Execution. Manage daily social media portfolio across multiple social channels (LinkedIn, Meta, Twitter and more). Stay on top of the rapidly evolving social media scene, as well as efforts of key competitors.
  • Collaboration. Partner with LOB Marketing Managers, Brand, Design, and Legal and Compliance in development of organic and paid social media content to meet individual team goals.
  • Paid campaigns. Support strategic planning for Paid Social Media campaigns, execution and optimization, and partnership with paid media agency.
  • Organic social. Support organic social strategy and content development in coordination with LOB’s and Social Media Specialist.
  • Agency management. Assist with work of a social media agency, always holding the agency accountable for top-quality content and support. Coordinate the creative assets within the social media management platform.
  • Reporting. Continuously deliver actionable analysis of social media results, with monthly and quarterly reporting that gives clear and concise summaries of effort and outcome. 
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.


MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field required.
  • Minimum Four (4) years of job-related work experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Excellent PC skills. Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Must be able to work effectively in both a team environment and independently
  • Work requires the ability to multi-task and be flexible.
