Social Media Advertising Coordinator

Remote

To assist the PETA Foundation and supported organizations with online fundraising, advocacy, awareness, and lead-generation advertisements and analytic services 


To apply digital fundraising innovations that advance the goals of PETA and other international entities 


Primary Responsibilities and Duties: 

  • In consultation with PETA Foundation and its supported organizations and verified compliance with the objectives, standards, and requirements communicated by them:
  • Optimize and maintain social media ad accounts for PETA Foundation and its supported organizations
  • Coordinate and optimize landing pages for digital advertising campaigns 
  • Evaluate the success of online campaigns and make changes in strategy accordingly 
  • Conceptualize and coordinate the creation of compelling video and image ads
  • Research new advertising opportunities and ensure that supported organizations are taking advantage of worthwhile opportunities 
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor


Requirements

  • College degree in a related field or equivalent digital advertising experience
  • 1+ year(s) experience working with Facebook/Instagram/Meta, TikTok, Twitter, Reddit, and/or other emerging social platforms
  • 1+ year(s) of experience writing ad copy and landing page copy
  • 1+ year(s) experience working in data analysis and strategy optimization
  • Proven exceptional analytical, organizational, time-management, verbal/written communication, and research skills
  • Ability to orchestrate a variety of projects and initiatives simultaneously and synergistically
  • Excellent working knowledge of the Internet
  • Working knowledge of Social Media and internet trends
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
  • Support for PETA's philosophy and the ability to professionally advocate PETA's positions on issues
  • Commitment to the objectives of the organization


The hourly pay range for this position is $17.24 - $21.21 per hour. The ultimate hourly pay within this range that will be offered to a qualified candidate will be determined based on the candidate’s experience and the cost of living in the area in which the candidate will live and work.
