SEO Marketing Manager

Remote (United States)

Nylas is currently searching for a SEO Manager to work closely with cross-company teams and create a strategy to increase Nylas’s online visibility and presence. Our ideal candidate has experience owning SEO strategy for a B2B SaaS company. This is a strategic role with many opportunities for growth and achievement! In this role, you will be a sole-contributor who is responsible for owning and implementing the SEO strategy that reflects business needs and drives strong direct response traffic increase.


In this role, you will work closely with content producers, internal stakeholders such as the brand management, product marketing, developer relations, social and demand generation teams, international teams, and vendors to expand Nylas’s digital footprint across organic search platforms.


What You’ll Do

  • Grow Nylas’s organic traffic and rankings
  • Optimize organic traffic conversion rates.
  • Manage and execute an end-to-end SEO strategy, including goals, objectives, strategies, and a clear roadmap
  • Provide detailed competitive analysis and ensure Nylas is maintaining authority across key business units and keyword themes
  • Perform keyword research in coordination with business objectives to optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities, and gain SERP
  • Work closely with the marketing team, and other stakeholders to align on the company strategies and plans.
  • Work with Product Marketing, Product Management, Web Development and other teams to ensure correct implementation of SEO recommendations, both technically and content-wise.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest tools, trends and changes with SEO and major search engines.
  • Monitor and evaluate search results and search performance across the major search engines and markets. Partner with the RevOps team to create and deliver SEO performance reports, and provide actionable insights to other marketing channels and internal stakeholders
  • Stay abreast on top trends, best practices, and algorithms to continually develop winning strategies


What You’ll Bring

  • 4+ years of experience in strategizing and implementing SEO campaigns, ideally with a B2B SaaS company
  • The ideal candidate is highly analytical and excels in a results driven environment
  • Comes with a deep understanding of SEO best practices and industry standards to ensure content (value prop, landing and product pages) are optimized to increase organic acquisition and search rankings
  • Proven experience in planning and implementing a successful SEO strategy
  • Ability to achieve concrete results, develop processes that improve outcomes or streamline overhead costs
  • Experience developing and delivering best practices in media execution across paid search (SEM), paid social and programmatic
