SEO Copywriter

Huckberry is seeking a part-time Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Copywriter to join the team on a contract basis. Your primary responsibility will be to execute SEO-optimized articles to provide high value to our target audience and consistently achieve high SERP rankings. The Huckberry content team will provide the topics and content. You must have a solid knowledge of core SEO principles and the ability to seamlessly incorporate keywords and keyword variations into your articles. 

To excel in the role, you must have an excellent grip on English grammar, punctuation, spelling, and style. In-depth knowledge of current SEO practices is obligatory. Knowledge of menswear and the outdoors is a plus. Our ultimate goal is to produce high-quality content that consistently ranks high on Google and reliably generates organic traffic to our site.

Please note this is a part-time, contract position

Responbsibilities

• Research and execute SEO-optimized content that is factually accurate, informative, engaging, and free of grammatical errors
• Implementing feedback and suggestions from our editorial team
• Adhering to our internal linking guidelines and contextually including mandatory internal links from content briefs into your articles

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with SEO and content writing
• Portfolio of your best content
• Excellent knowledge of all aspects of written English
• Solid knowledge of core SEO principles and the ability to apply them to written content
