Senior Talent Manager

The Senior Talent Manager holds a leadership position within the Organization Effectiveness function of HBP Corporate Learning. This position works closely with the leadership team and Human Resources and is responsible for Corporate Learning's people strategy and planning. This position will have meaningful business and leadership conversations with leaders across the group and will embed themselves as a trusted adviser.


This is a new role for the organization and will be responsible for creating the talent strategy across teams, conducting people and capability analyses, leading readiness reviews and identifying talent mobility opportunities. This role will also forecast our talent needs based on our long-term business objectives.  This role will partner with the enablement leaders on the team to ensure that we have the right skills in the right roles. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaison with Human Resources on CL competencies and people management
  • Leads CL people & capability analyses
  • Identify role-based Competencies
  • Forecast CL Talent Requirements based on CL long term objectives
  • Perform Strategic Role Assessment and Identify Critical Workforce
  • Lead CL talent & readiness reviews / people assessments
  • Identify mobility opportunities for CL employees & executes plans to deliver
  • Develop / Revise Workforce Plans
  • Design To-Be Roles and Jobs
  • Monitor Fulfillment of Workforce Gaps


Job Requirements:

  • Based on East coast of United States
  • 4-year degree, graduate degree preferred
  • 10+ years applicable experience
  • Demonstrated ability and experience in the following:
  • Competency development
  • Workforce planning, readiness (talent reviews) and capability analyses
  • Talent mobility planning and execution
  • Partnering with key business stakeholders to forecast talent needs
  • Broad-based knowledge of Talent Management, Learning and Development
  • Comfortable and effective in a collaborative environment, working with all levels of the organization
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills combined with team leadership abilities
  • Innovative and flexible approach
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a remote working environment
  • Willingness to travel to home office and key locations after Covid 19 -- approximately 25%
