Senior Software Engineer

TRD is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Software Engineer in our Technology Department.

 

This position will be responsible for software solutions as required to meet the business requirements of TRD and its customers.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the ongoing release of software and their dependent infrastructure components are defect free.
  • Recommend and develop product maintenance lifecycles that will be used by members of the software development teams.
  • Assume and transfer ownership of software products from a collaborative group of external/internal software developers to enable continued customer satisfaction with those product.
  • Facilitate the maintenance of new software/infrastructure through the development of a software maintenance lifecycle that will enable successful maintenance of completed software/infrastructure projects.

 

Qualifications:

A successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field and a minimum of 5 years’ experience


A successful candidate preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with a variety of web based programming languages and technologies such as Javascript, React, Node, C++.
  • Knowledge of all phases of software/infrastructure maintenance lifecycles: quality assurance, implementation, testing, release, and the continued iteration of those products.
  • Experience developing web applications using Amazon Web Services
  • Experience working with internal and external software/infrastructure development teams to achieve a common goals.
