Senior Retail Operations Manager

The Senior Retail Operations Manager is responsible for the focused delivery of effective, integrated, business-driven solutions that support critical initiatives and the strategic retail roadmap. This high impact role is responsible for managing a portfolio of complex programs and leveraging multiple project management methodologies across the retail portfolio. This senior manager will have oversight to a team of program managers and coordinators, highly effective and collaborative partnerships with business peers and strategic influence with executive-level leadership.


This highly skilled retail operations expert will drive operational consistency across all YETI Retail Stores through communication, operational excellence, brand standards, project management and customer experience strategies. The successful candidate must demonstrate thought leadership, drive results, and lead quality work with executional excellence. This high-impact role based out of our Lantana Campus in Austin Texas and will report to the Director of Retail. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Design effective communication and strategic messaging that will be utilized to deliver the overall brand intent for achieving best in retail teams and customer experiences in store
  • Provide oversight and compliance reporting tools that ensure operating standards are achieved
  • Create effective tools that convey the brand message to retail teams, in efforts to build and convey company direction that drives performance
  • Design and implement company guidebooks that are both educational and motivational
  • Play a key role in increasing sales and KPI results year over year through the development of tools and training programs
  • Manage multiple concurrent new stores opening projects from build out to launch
  • Develop a high performing team of subject matter experts that support each of our core values and drive best in retail experiences for our team and our customer
  • Remove barriers and implement solutions that create consistent operational excellence and brand standards across the portfolio


Qualifications and Attributes:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or other related fields is required
  • At least 8 years in a multi-unit premium retail environment
  • At least 4 years of leadership experience
  • Deep knowledge of premium retail operational execution supporting best in retail customer experiences
  • Strong attention to detail as it relates to providing oversight in a premium brand
  • Strong business acumen skills and the ability to deliver results
  • Comfortable with change and ambiguity
  • Excellent sales, merchandising, operating, marketing and presentation skills including the ability to interpret brand direction
  • Strong, verbal, written and communication skills
  • Ability to translate critical messaging across the retail portfolio
  • Ability to create dynamic tools and resources that lead and inspire field leadership
  • Experience working with corporate business partners, store managers, and field leadership
  • Ability to think creatively, act rationally, make business decisions, influence people, and execute brilliantly
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead by example
  • Given the fast-paced nature of the business and our growing brand, you will need to be adaptable and agile while also deadline and detail oriented
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Platforms
