Senior Marketing Manager

We are building a world-class marketing team and are looking for an analytical, creative, strategic and execution-minded individual to join us as a Senior Marketing Manager. You will be instrumental in helping us scale our marketing initiatives and help us launch key strategic projects.

You will be responsible for both hyper-local and national marketing strategy development and implementation that are aligned to brand standards and designed to achieve business goals. 

You will be leading market-level communications within promotions, sponsorships, events, paid media channels, primarily Social; Search (PPC); Programmatic Display; and Online Video, for Web and mobile. 

In addition to consistently driving customer traffic, goals will include establishing a strong brand presence in each market with clear positioning to increase brand loyalty. 


This position is hybrid based out of our NYC location

Reports to: VP of Marketing


  • Lead Just Salad’s local marketing and national promotional marketing vision and planning for New Store Openings and existing Just Salad locations
  • Lead the strategy, planning, execution, and optimization of our paid performance marketing programs with our digital marketing agency and internal teams with the goal to drive store traffic, improve our web and mobile conversion and retention rates.
  • Collaborate with Just Salad’s local and regional operators to evaluate the marketing needs of each restaurant (new and existing)
  • Provide on-the-ground marketing support with the objective to deepen our community relationships and create elevated local experience
  • Collaborate with brand and communication teams on national strategy and communicate out to local operators to facilitate campaign execution at the regional level including OOH, digital, direct mail, etc.  
  • Train Just Salad operators on new marketing initiatives and existing programs
  • Work closely with Brand, Communication and Digital teams to develop regionalized promotional campaigns through owned channels, including: PR, events, social, email, mobile/web, advertising, business listings (Yelp, Google, etc)
  • Report on regional trends and be the voice of the field, ensuring the company thinks about the local marketing issues and opportunities
  • Uses aligned ROI methodologies to measure effectiveness of marketing plans and recommend adjustments as needed
  • Prepare and present post analysis of campaign results for both national and local promotions

  • Bachelor’s Degree required 
  • At least 3 years of Marketing experience 
  • Field Marketing experience in a multi-unit restaurant /retail environment (“trade area based” marketing planning & execution), preferred
  • Experience actively managing, reporting on, and optimizing paid digital marketing campaigns and tactics
  • Knowledge and experience with sponsorships including establishing new & maintaining relationships, negotiating contracts, implementing assets and assessing impact
  • General knowledge of core marketing concepts and competencies
  • Operational mindset with strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong brand and financial acumen
  • Expert time management and project organizational skills
  • Ability to Travel 50%; within designated area
