We are a subsidiary of HubSpot, a fast-growing software maker that helps companies build and scale their businesses.

We are looking for a Senior Marketing Manager who will be responsible for executing engagement and retention strategies as we scale Trends to 50,000 members. To do this, you’ll rely on your creativity, analytical problem solving, project management, communication, resourcefulness, and leadership skills.

Example projects include analyzing behaviors within the Trends Facebook group and iteratively experimenting to improve engagement there, developing community programming (such as events, guest speakers, and networking groups), improving customer onboarding, running experiments to re-engage dormant members, and working across HubSpot Media teams to turn Trends community discussions into assets for content distribution.

In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Own the strategy and execution of driving engagement among Trends’ 16k+ founders, operators, and business builders.
  • Take an iterative, experimental approach to achieve results. You’ll use data to find what works and what doesn’t, and update your plans accordingly.
  • Partner with product development, growth, creative, and editorial teams to develop community programming. You’ll help us make Trends the best place on the web for business builders.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact with any external partners or vendors who will help deliver campaign assets.

  • Take a data-driven, experimental approach to achieve goals: developing theories, designing experiments, and objectively measuring the results.
  • Are organized, analytical, and process-oriented to find inefficiencies and develop repeatable, efficient methods to mitigate them.
  • Have the ability to be hands-on, with comfort in driving both strategy and day-to-day execution.
  • Have experience developing strong cross-functional relationships both internally and externally.

Cash compensation range: 85,000-127,000 USD annually.

The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, all HubSpotters are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
