Senior Marketing Analyst

Billie is on the lookout for a marketing analytics specialist to join our Data and Analytics team. As a Senior Marketing Analyst you will contribute to the ongoing development of our analytics infrastructure and help the larger team unlock the value of our data. This role will have a strong dotted line to our world-class Marketing team and will use data to inform both our acquisition and retention strategies. 


The role: 

  • Serve as the resident marketing expert on the data team
  • Turn raw marketing data into materialized datasets to enable self-service
  • Partner with Billie’s growth team to increase efficiencies across both digital (e.g., social) and offline (e.g., linear TV) acquisition channels
  • Drive the advancement of our marketing attribution methodology
  • Design experiments to measure incrementality across a variety of marketing campaigns
  • Communicate findings and recommendations coming out of analyses to key stakeholders 
  • Support segmentation efforts across acquisition and retention through the development of customer insights and analysis of historical performance data
  • Understand, and be proactive in seeking new and innovative solutions to solve business measurement challenges
  • Lead, validate, monitor and troubleshoot tagging and tracking for marketing measurement
  • Support other ad-hoc requests as needed 


What we’re looking for: 

  • 3+ years of professional analytics experience with an emphasis on acquisition marketing 
  • Expert-level knowledge of SQL
  • Experience building reports and dashboards using data visualization tools (e.g., Looker)
  • Familiarity with one or more data warehouse
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Prior experience in e-commerce 
  • Understanding of MMM and MTA concepts
  • Eagerness to build a best-in-class data practice
  • Familiarity with dbt a plus
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A proactive and collaborative approach; you love working with people and people love working with you
