Senior Manager, Retail Supply Chain

What you’ll learn & achieve:

Partner with P&L leader to develop the strategy and vision to reach short, mid and long-term revenue objectives for the retail supply chain ecosystem (retailers and multi-tier supply chain) within chemical compliance. Set client strategy for the Retail Supply Chain (RSC) sub-COU to be executed by the Retail Account Specialists. Develop the marketing and influencer strategy (i.e., value proposition definition, content strategy) that is to be executed in collaboration with Strategic Marketing. Build strong networks with clients, trade associations and other key influencers. Understand and implement findings from the Market Development team into account strategies and planning. Partner with Product Management to determine reconfiguration of current tool set to solve tangential client needs and win against current and emerging competitors. Partner with Market Development to determine scalability of product reconfigurations. Own the competitive landscape analysis of retail supply chain software solutions within the chemical compliance field. Partner with the Strategy, Partnership and Acquisition group to develop partnership strategy to identify risk, opportunity and growth forecast of the RSC business based on potential acquisition targets. Collaborate across the COU (i.e. Sales, Market Development), and within TIC (Global Account Managers – Retail Segment) and E&A to determine how current set of RSC solutions can satisfy unmet client needs. Lead interactions with existing and new clients and trade associations. Recruit and supervise a team of professionals. *This position qualifies for UL LLC’s employee referral policy program.*


What makes you a great fit:

Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, applied chemistry, or related and six (6) years of experience in regulatory/compliance and retail supply chain

 

Must have work experience in each of the following: 1) environmental and regulatory compliance, including procurement, transportation, storage, and safe handling of chemical-based and other dangerous goods within retail; 2) working with retail industry associations in US and Canada; 3) working with multi-tier retail supply chains to ensure products are safe and compliant; 4) EPA Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, DOT, TDG and IATA dangerous good transportation regulations; and 5) working with retail supply chain compliance software.
