Senior Manager, Multimedia Producer

McLean, VA

Our Global Communications organization is responsible for protecting and elevating Hilton's reputation, driving brand and consumer communications, inspiring and engaging Team Members, and connecting owners and other partners with Hilton’s purpose and business goals.


What will I be doing?

The Senior Manager, Multimedia Producer – Global Brand Communications will partner closely with colleagues across the portfolio to lead a video production center of excellence that continues to redefine the way video tells the Hilton story, both internally and externally. An innovative and creative visual storyteller at heart, this person will have solid news judgment and will continue to rethink and refine the broad concept of what makes for successful video across multiple channels and the many touchpoints of the Hilton brands!


More specifically, you will:

  • Develop a flexible, efficient, and timely approach to content creation and visual storytelling, working with a mix of agencies, contractors, freelancers, and team members.
  • Collaborate with our internal and external communications teams to determine content needs, the purpose of a video, then develop a strategy and creative approach to accomplish those goals through specific visual, animation, and editing treatments.
  • Develop and implement standards for video production and new photography, including understanding and sharing technical needs and setting the tone and taste of these tactics
  • Pitch, research, write, shoot and edit original video content supporting Hilton’s mission and priorities.
  • Plan production schedules and oversee editing of video assets according to identified and agreed upon creative strategy, budget, and time restrictions.
  • Create comprehensive content with key audiences in mind to position Hilton as the best place to work and the traveler’s choice for the most friendly and reliable stays
  • Direct and conduct interviews with Hilton leaders in studio or on location at events.
  • Lead the media asset management and preservation process.
  • Collaborate with other teams to create social-ready video content that reaches and engages various audiences.
  • Work closely with other content producers in the Hilton organization to ensure all efforts are shared for maximum impact.
  • Develop large-scale initiatives in support of specific critical metrics while also being able to dive into the details.


What are we looking for?

Success in this role will be demonstrated by the following attributes and skills:

  • Creatively ambitious and innovative
  • Project management skills with an ability to stay calm and effective while balancing multiple concurrent demands and prioritizing responsibilities
  • Flexibility to work hours outside of scheduled office time, sometimes with short notice, to meet tight deadlines
  • Experience leading complex productions with detailed requirements and tight deadlines
  • Experience working with and presenting to senior executives in a corporate setting


To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

  • Six (6) years of media production experience
  • Three (3) years of management or supervisory experience
  • Proven video production experience at a major news media outlet, production agency, or notable company
  • Proficient in some combination of Premiere, Avid, Final Cut, and After Effects
  • Experience with production planning to achieve news-editorial, communications, marketing, and business goals


It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • BA/BS Bachelor’s Degree
  • Proficiency with editing music tracks and working with motion graphics
