Senior Manager - Environmental, Social & Governance

Partner with the best in the heavy-duty industry and apply today!The ESG Manager will establish the framework of the Company’s ESG program; manage legislative compliance requirements as well as evaluate the Company’s impact on ESG factors and recommend, prioritize, and execute strategic efforts to support the interests of our stakeholders, communities, and planet.

Responsibilities:

• Subject matter expert on Environmental, Social & Governance initiatives, policies and reporting requirements
• Develop and advise on data-driven ESG goals and metrics; measure performance and the positive impact of Company ESG programs
• Design the Company’s ESG strategic plan and drive implementation of corporate responsibility across the organization
• Partner with senior leadership and all internal departments to understand material ESG factors within the day-to-day operations and assist in drafting relevant policies and identifying risks, gaps, opportunities, and areas to strengthen the ESG footprint in Company projects, practices and programs
• Perform project-specific environmental impact studies and offer recommendations that align project scope with the Company’s strategic plan and values
• Develop and implement internal and external communication strategies including content creation, data collection and content distribution to various stakeholders related to the Company’s ESG program
• Streamline processes for responding to internal and external requests, assist with quarterly board updates and cultivate opportunities for community engagement
• Monitor the ESG landscape, maintain industry knowledge and stay current on best practices and regulatory obligations in relevant field
• May require ~ 25% travel
• All other responsibilities as needed or required

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, environmental sustainability or related field
• 5-7 years of experience in an ESG role or equivalent
• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail with the ability to translate complex data into digestible and informative outputs
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of Industry EHS standards and best practices and experience designing or redesigning an ESG program
• Excellent understanding of ESG and sustainability expectations from an investor perspective
• Strong management skills, leading all levels by influence and motivating others to perform around a common goal
• Highly self-directed, self-motivated and possess the ability to work autonomously
• Ability to effectively organize, plan, prioritize, document and execute responsibilities effectively
