Senior Manager, Corporate Communications

Los Angeles, CA +2

We are looking for a talented professional with a strong background in managing across multiple pillars of corporate communications: from understanding complex policy, trust and safety and DE&I issues, crisis management, internal communications, demonstrating an understanding of the global media landscape and how to navigate within a corporate brand portfolio. 


The candidate will be a member of the team responsible for shaping Tinder’s story as a product, company, and brand. This role will be responsible for managing Tinder’s corporate storytelling in close partnership with Match Group Communications and will report directly to Tinder’s Vice President of Communications, Americas. You must be a highly collaborative, resourceful, strategic thinker and self-starter that thrives in fast-paced environments and is comfortable managing multiple things at once.

  • Strong corporate reputation, executive thought leadership and issues management experience
  • Excellent judgment of brand and comms risk with ability to respond and escalate quickly
  • Maintain a strong network of relationships with journalists, influencers across many verticals
  • Highly collaborative with demonstrated experience earning trust and serving as a cross-functional partner
  • Understand the relationship between portfolio and parent companies, and how to navigate
  • Ability to identify insights, build stories and manage press cycles around corporate milestones
  • Strong writer with experience developing content, speeches and statements for execs and companies
  • Demonstrated success in telling positive trust & safety stories 
  • Substantial experience working on a strategic level with and communicating clearly to senior executives 
  • Excellent project manager with demonstrated ability in leading initiatives from strategy to execution to showcasing measurable impact


If these qualities and qualifications sound like you, we might be a match:

  • 7+ years of deep experience in Corporate Communications, in tech or lifestyle sectors, in either in-house or agency settings
  • Experience working in a global organization, having both global and local-market view and understanding of the region
  • Know how to successfully and efficiently manage an agency
  • Bias-for-action, resourceful and agile on changing course and getting things done 
  • Strategic thinker, a team player, and an excellent writer/communicator
  • Passionate about culture and Gen Z trends, spends a lot of time on new/social media
  • Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Communications, Business, or a related field is preferred
