Senior Manager, AMS Social Media

Drive the LEGO Group’s regional digital marketing agenda in the Americas (US/CA/LATAM & MX)!


Enable and drive social media marketing by elevating the voice of the Americas and our business units within the Global organization and growing digital proficiency.


Lead a robust team to deliver audience-first experiences that:

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead the social media + digital editorial function to deliver strong and relevant social media experiences that drive reach, engagement, recruitment and sales
  • Play a role in organizational design and provide cross-functional digital leadership - support and build a pipeline for digital talent
  • Own direction for the US voice on global LEGO® social media channels and local channels for LATAM + MX that reach millions of shoppers/consumers, ensuring brand image is protected at all times
  • Drive regional Digital Strategy across Social Platforms, Forums and Partnerships to deliver enhanced performance, spend efficiency and campaign consistency in execution
  • Lead our key Social Media Partnerships on a regional level and ensure new potential partners/platforms are evaluated and onboarded where appropriate
  • Play a leading role within the Project Dispatch newsroom-style pilot, creating a one team approach, driving alignment & collaboration across marketing, creative, measurement, editorial, paid partners, channels, agencies and markets. Support individual personal development
  • Support, collaborate and significantly influence Heads of Marketing and Digital Leads in their social media investment decisions
  • Media Agency leadership to include optimizing digital operations with the Reprise Social Hub, solving for resourcing and ways of working challenges, leading with innovation and delivering media efficiency
  • Partner with AMS Marketing, US Brand Marketing, LATAM/MX and CA Marketing, LEGO Agency, LEGO Retail, Global Media, Corporate Comms, Consumer Service – to ensure AMS regional requirements are taken into consideration
  • Translate global approaches into locally relevant execution
  • Engage with LEGO Retail teams and Cross-Regional counterparts to support strategy, harmonize tactics and share insights across regions
  • Establish a data driven decision approach and collect relevant data points across the partners, market and LEGO ecosystem
  • Embed a test, learn and scale culture to ensure we improve the opportunities presented by emerging media trends and technologies


The AMS Digital Marketing Team was created in January 2018, as part of building a stronger LEGO® Marketing Value Chain and increasing our effectiveness and efficiency across the globe.


Our Vision: Reach and recruit new audiences and retain existing fans, through engaging content and conversations on the native platforms they use.


Do you have what it takes?

  • Understanding of social media and influencer marketing, with minimum 8 years’ experience from agency or premium consumer brand, working with social platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest and Snapchat
  • Proven record of defining and activating social media strategies for a leading brand, with strong experience supervising media agencies
  • Strong functional expertise in media strategy, social (organic/paid) and crisis communication
  • Minimum 3 years' experience with regional or local leadership and success developing people
  • Ability to drive digital transformation and digital capability
  • Deep understanding of digital channel measurement, connecting metrics with overall marketing and business objectives
  • Able to demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Marketing field preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Budget management
  • Fluency in English; other European Language skills an advantage
