Chewy is seeking Sr Legal Operations Analyst in Fort Lauderdale, FL or Boston, MA offices.
What You'll Do:
Legal Spend Management Program Administration
- Coordinate legal vendor management activities: liaise with Procurement & Legal Team
- Coordinate RFPs for legal matters
- Law Firm/Legal vendor primary support contact for billing and coordination
- Legal bill review: billing guidelines compliance, expense validation
- Legal billing guidelines & standard engagement letter maintenance
- SOX testing and reporting
- Law firm/Legal Vendor performance reporting
- Legal spend financial management, liaise with Finance team
Compliance Program Administration
- Administrative support for cross-functional compliance, governance, and risk teams
- Risk logging and tracking of remediation
Legal Technology Portfolio System Administration & Data Management
- Legal Matter & Spend Management system administration & data management (Acuity)
- Risk & Compliance system administration and data management
- Proposed: Audit Board
- Lineslip, RiskConnect
- Navex suite (training, RiskRate, EthicsPoint (OpenBark)
- Legal Document Management system administration (NetDocuments)
- Legal workflows: SNOW, Confluence/JIRA, TBD
- Electronic Discovery Lab system administration and management (TBD)
- Align Legal Team technology with Chewy IT & Security policies (SSO, etc); liaise with IT
- Become proficient in legal technology & tools, their use and how to create an effective and efficient user experience
Legal Team Business Analyst
- Support digital transformation projects in Legal:
- Playbooks, process maps, etc; utilize no/low code technology to experiment with automated workflows
- Process & technology gap analysis and solution recommendations
- Build and Maintain KPIs and dashboards for Legal Team using Chewy's available BI tools
- Reduce complexities for the Legal team: smooth out bumps in process for the Legal Team as they navigate multiple internal customers & processes; make it easy to navigate multiple processes
- Build the foundation for cross-functional coordination of compliance, data governance, and privacy functions
- Coordinate work, recognize opportunities to reduce bureaucracy & friction, propose & deliver improvements
- Process/SOP Documentation: playbook creation & maintenance
- Manage projects of moderate complexity
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree from accredited institution
- 3+ years of experience in legal operations, technology administration, reporting, or business analysis
- Proficient in business applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; eagerness to learn quickly
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects to successful completion
- 5-10% travel, depending on location
Bonus (if applicable):
- Experience with legal technology and legal terminology is beneficial
- Experience with Smartsheet or similar work management tools is beneficial
- Ability to work with multiple data sets in order to make informed recommendations; experience with business intelligence tools (Tableau) is beneficial
