Senior Lead, Marketing Analytics and Operations

Remote (United States)

Opportunity is not evenly distributed. Shopify puts independence within reach for anyone with a dream to start a business. We propel entrepreneurs and enterprises to scale the heights of their potential. Since 2006, we’ve grown to over 8,300 employees and generated over $947 billion in sales for millions of merchants in 175 countries.

This is life-defining work that directly impacts people’s lives as much as it transforms your own. This is putting the power of the few in the hands of the many, is a future with more voices rather than fewer, and is creating more choices instead of an elite option.

Moving at our pace brings a lot of change, complexity, and ambiguity—and a little bit of chaos. Shopifolk thrive on that and are comfortable being uncomfortable. That means Shopify is not the right place for everyone.

Before you apply, consider if you can:

  • Care deeply about what you do and about making commerce better for everyone
  • Excel by seeking professional and personal hypergrowth
  • Keep up with an unrelenting pace (the week, not the quarter)
  • Be resilient and resourceful in face of ambiguity and thrive on (rather than endure) change
  • Bring critical thought and opinion
  • Embrace differences and disagreement to get shit done and move forward
  • Work digital-first for your daily work

The Revenue Marketing team is on a hunt for a Sr Lead, Marketing Analytics and Operations who thrives in the hustle of entrepreneurship and sees the beauty in creating new value. This role will work cross-functionally with all Commercial teams to oversee the governance of marketing data, optimization of our marketing funnels, campaign processes, marketing project management, planning & target setting, and performance reporting that keeps our marketing and GTM teams moving quickly.

If you're someone who craves structure and the comfort of an office cubicle, this might not be the place for you. But if you're seeking hyper growth, can untangle complex problems with ease, and thrive on change (and a dash of chaos), then you've found your tribe. We're not just looking for team players; we want independent thinkers who are on a relentless pursuit of growth. At our remote company, we prioritize making commerce better for everyone, even if it means serving and supporting those we may not agree with.

We're in the business of constant learning and constant discomfort. So if you're joining us, be prepared to work with some of the most driven crafters in the industry who are hell-bent on mastery. But remember, growth isn't just an opportunity here; it's an expectation. You'll have resources at your disposal to push yourself out of your comfort zone constantly. We're building products for the long haul, aiming to make our company a centenarian. This requires an unrelenting pace and resilience to navigate ambiguity. So if you're someone who can thrive (not just survive) on change and chaos, then welcome aboard!

This individual is expected to be comfortable being uncomfortable, to be pushed out of his/her comfort zone, be resilient, thrive on change and ambiguity. At Shopify we get shit done, ship fast, and continuously learn while operating on a low process, high trust system.and a bit of chaos.

You are expected to commit to your craft, aim for hypergrowth in a remote work environment, embrace the bigger picture of making commerce better for all, occasionally setting aside personal beliefs for the greater good.
