Senior Inbound Demand Gen Marketing Manager

Currently, the leave management process is painful, and inefficient for everyone - company leaders struggle to keep up with regulations and processes that change frequently, and the employees going on leave are overwhelmed by bureaucracy at an exceptionally important juncture in their career. Sparrow transforms this ordinarily tedious, error-prone, complex to remain compliant, and time-consuming process into a 30-minute end-to-end experience saving teams time (20 - 40 hours per leave) and money (up to $30K per leave).

Our company is growing rapidly and we are excited to hire a Senior Demand Gen Marketing Manager. We are looking for someone that knows how to build and scale paid lead generation programs. This role will have a tremendous impact on our inbound and outbound sales motions and be a core component of the Marketing organization.

About the role

  • Drive inbound lead generation through paid search programs. You’ll have a proven history either directly operating or managing vendors to drive leads and wins through paid search programs. The expectation here is that you are an expert in paid search optimization tools and strategies in relation to account based marketing motions.
  • Be the search subject matter expert across paid and organic. Utilizing a variety of search tools, be it ahrefs, spyfu, semrush, etc, you’ll be constantly identifying new opportunities to test, creating our SEM content roadmap, and identifying competitive opportunities.
  • Own our landing page strategy. Across paid and organic programs driving to dot com, you’ll implement a robust strategy to test messaging, CTAs, and page layouts to measure results. You’ll also collaborate with other program managers sharing best practices to lift results overall.
  • Collaborate with content creators. You’ll have a key role of informing content creators (Product Marketing, 3rd party writers, SMEs) about search trends and in addition to that be part of the content development process ensuring every piece of content, feature based, blog, customer stories, etc are optimized for organic search.
  • The primary owner of dot com. You’ll be the primary owner of GA, constantly monitoring key metrics like bounce rates, avg time, sessions to build out multivariate testing plans to increase conversions; leads and wins; i.e. you’ll always be testing. You’ll also ensure partner functions are enabled with the metrics they need to inform their programs and provide data as needed to report and analyze.
  • You’ll utilize a variety of ad networks to drive awareness. Whether we utilize GDN, third party ad networks, conduct direct buys or use agencies, you’ll have experience with all types of display/ad formats including banners, contextual, syndication and more.

About you

  • A top performer. You’ve managed inbound Demand Gen Marketing programs in a high-growth company for a minimum of 5 years.
  • Martech stack adept. You’ll be familiar with a variety of ad tech platforms as well as paid and organic search tools.
  • Learner’s mindset. Highly self-directed, adaptable, and up for feedback and implementation in a fast-paced, always changing environment that has high-performance expectations while working collaboratively. You have a desire for helping customers and colleagues while defining and optimizing Demand Gen by working cross-functionally.
  • Customer and product-obsessed. Leave is complicated, complex, overwhelming/stressful. In order to excel in this role, you’ll need to have a deep understanding of how we help our customers to create more marketing programs to drive lead acquisition.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Clear, empathetic communicator able to balance rapport and problem-solving. You are great at communicating through email, chat, phone while displaying active listening skills and having strong follow-through and prioritization of time management.
