Senior Fullstack Engineer

Remote (United States)

Billie is looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join its growing tech team. As an engineer on the team, you’ll help build and power great experiences for our customers and solve interesting problems all over the stack. You’ll be immersed in opportunities to solve problems for our loyal customers, build features that directly impact the business, and collaborate daily with kind and passionate team members.


What you’ll do:

  • Work closely with our product, design, and data teams to brainstorm and create solutions for customer and business needs across our website 
  • Build clean, performant, and stable APIs to power our subscription and customer experience
  • Apply metrics and data-driven insights to solve both engineering and customer-facing issues
  • Conduct code reviews for teammates and apply quality assurance practices to the work you write and review
  • Own meaningful aspects of the technology stack and help shape Billie’s internal culture and engineering processes
  • Mentor and coach junior engineers

 

What we’re looking for:

  • 5+ years of full stack development experience
  • Production experience with React.js and Node.js
  • Firm grasp of JavaScript fundamentals, experience with TypeScript a plus
  • Experience working with infrastructure and devops
  • Experience with systems design and creating scalable architecture
  • Excited about agile software development and a culture of constant learning and improvement
