Senior Financial Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join Twitch's Sales Finance team in the broader Financial Planning & Analysis team. The Sales Finance team partners with all departments at Twitch to guide financial decisions and provide insights. You will provide visibility into Twitch's financial performance and strategic programs in the Commerce business. You will develop an understanding of our Commerce business to create recommendations to improve our trajectory. You will report to our Finance Manager. Responsibilities may include the following:

You Will:

Create financial models and Return on investment analyses for several Commerce products and payment platforms
Support long range planning and rolling forecast delivery for Commerce P&L
Develop and monitor goals, highlighting trends and explaining causes of variances to forecast as part of month end close process
Guide primary forecasting and reporting related to operating expenses and payment fees, and develop financial insights to ensure effective cost management for the Commerce department
Design and own processes to track and evaluate country-level performances
Design new processes, enhance existing reports, and build new models that make our financial data more relevant
Ad hoc financial modeling and analysis

You Have:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics or other quantitative major
MBA, CFA, or CPA preferred
4+ years in finance (including at least 1 year in Sales Finance), public accounting, banking, or consulting
Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) modeling and data analytics (bonus for experience with SQL)
Experience working in high-tech startup environments
Comfortable working with all levels of management and experienced partnering with leadership
Can navigate through vast amounts of data, identify patterns and make relevant management decisions
Highest standards of accuracy
Can thrive without a lot of structure and management
Can identify ways to improve existing analyses and processes
