In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Play a critical role in creating and supporting an equitable workplace culture where associates can be at their most productive and focus on growing their careers, championing our standard processes and policies across our OpCos, and ensuring compliance and employee relations best practices.
- Advise and coach OpCo HR team members on core labor and employee relations matters including Human Resources and Employee Relations investigations, individual separations for performance, misconduct, or the like; employee-medical and religious accommodations, including leaves of absence; performance management, including performance-improvement plans, and other disciplinary action; and reductions-in-force, restructuring based separations, and other group terminations, etc.
- Conduct and manage non-routine workplace investigations of associate complaints and grievances with systematic approach to address root causes, develop and recommend actions and countermeasures, and effectively conclude investigation by facilitating a review of the decision with appropriate stakeholders and close out of actions and countermeasures.
- Help build and implement Standard Work and best practice tools, policies and trainings, and ensure Standard Work and best practice tools are consistently adopted.
- Liaise with OpCo HR team members to share learnings, develop skills and competency within the HR function, and ensure cases are handled effectively and efficiently with SLAs.
- Draft non-routine documents and templates in connection with the four core pillars.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- University degree required (BA or BS); Master’s Degree preferred
- Has at least 5+ years or labor and employee relations experience in the U.S. with substantial responsibility in handling a variety of complex LER issues to conclusion, including in a remote work environment, in our four key pillars of Human Resources and Employee Relations investigations; individual separations for performance, misconduct, or the like; employee-medical accommodations, including leaves of absence; performance management, including performance-improvement plans, and other disciplinary action; and reductions-in-force, restructuring based separations, and other group terminations, etc.
- Significant experience in owning, handling and executing Human Resources and Employee relations investigations and preparation of appropriate documentation, including remote investigations.
- Experiences that suggest an ability to function independently and optimally in a sophisticated, matrixed organization.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
- Ability to travel domestically as needed, approximately 15% of the time
- Physical Demands: Include considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, monitor); May occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping; May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20 lbs; Physical activity associated with business travel.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Labor and employee relations experience in Canada and/or Puerto Rico, particularly in the areas of Human Resources and Employee Relations investigations, employee separations, employee medical or religious accommodations, performance management and disciplinary actions.
- Data analytics
- Conducting workplace training

The salary range OR the hourly range for this role is $97,000-$130,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
