Senior Director Marketing

Mooresville, NC

The Sr. Director Marketing is responsible for operationalizing and executing the entire marketing strategy through comprehensive planning, end to end creative, program and project management, building processes, supporting the execution of those plans, and on-going management of related support resources and key activities. The Sr Director Marketing works closely with both marketing leadership, and key cross-functional leaders to maintain continuous alignment and ensure strong go-to-market execution that delivers on desired customer experiences / business results. The Senior Director Marketing is a direct report into the SVP Brand Marketing and also serves as a chief of staff role for the SVP Brand Marketing and Chief Brand and Marketing Officer with critical PMO leadership and key company initiatives like board of directors presentations, CEO presentations, etc.


RESPONSIBILITY STATEMENTS:

  • Budget Management – supporting both monthly expense forecasting processes and invoice processing.
  • Gift Cards – including ownership of P&L and merchandising activities, partnering with Brand Marketing on marketing message integration.
  • Program Management – strategic leadership of key cross functional projects led by marketing org.
  • Business Planning – supporting both cross functional business planning and related internal marketing planning timelines (calendar and beyond) and work activities. Additionally, support development of new internal marketing process as identified / assigned.
  • Process Operations & System Administration – ownership of daily / weekly intake and governance processes across signage and off-cycle requests; backend system other administrative responsibilities related to planning, workflow and collaboration tools.
  • Creative Services – management of shared creative services inclusive of production trafficking, resource capacity management, asset management and production product sourcing.
  • Marketing Operations – project management of marketing campaigns and in-house creative production.
  • Tabs Channel Management – strategy and performance management of the Tabs channel, including channel planning, intake and production.
  • Promotional Integration – working closely across cross functional teams and internal marketing stakeholders to integrate merchant planned promotions as/where relevant across marketing channels,
  • Process design and leadership for end to end planning to ensure strategic work is executed.
  • Ownership of systems and tools across marketing to ensure planning and execution.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Business Related Field.
  • 10 Years with leadership experience in retail.
  • 5 Years with leading people as a manager.
  • Leading promotional planning in a retail environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence at multiple s of the organization.
  • Strong business acumen and analytic skills.


PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • MBA or other business related Master’s Degree.
  • 5 Years Marketing planning and/or media planning.
