Senior Director, IT

Frisco, TX

Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP) is seeking a Sr Director of Enterprise Architecture to provide insight and lead all technology related aspects with senior management. The incumbent will develop roadmaps that show how the organization will move towards a certain future state that aligns to the business and IT strategy. Conduct design sessions with decision makers and perform an analysis of architecture assets. Works with stakeholders, both leadership and subject matter expects to build a holistic view of the organization's strategy, business processes, applications, information, and technology assets. Catalogs, develops, coordinates, communicates, maintains, and enforces the overall Enterprise Architecture Models, Representations, Initiatives, Capabilities, and Standard Components used by the Enterprise to perform all business and technology-related activities

 

Responsibilities:

  • Chair Architecture Review Board (ARB): Run and/or participate in architecture reviews and approvals, as needed.
  • Coordinate with IT and Business Leadership and Enterprise Architecture Team to provide consensus-based enterprise solutions that are scalable, adaptable and in synchronization with ever-changing business needs.
  • Ensure success within the Project Portfolio Prioritization process and responsibilities.
  • Influence senior leaders and all levels within the business and IT staff on all areas of the architecture, including policies, standards, strategies, and governance.
  • Responsible for establishing and enhancing formal architecture plans including up-to-date roadmaps and future state maps.
  • Assure IT and Business Leadership that architecture principles and standards are consistently applied.
  • Provide expert advice on industry and application trends when analyzing and planning current and future IT needs.
  • Establishment and maintenance of contacts within business units and information technology to understand business activities and business drivers, business requirements, solutions strategies, alternatives, etc., being considered and/or implemented by assisting in aligning business and enterprise IT initiatives with the Enterprise Architecture.
  • Champion on-going publicity and communication of the Enterprise Architecture organization both within the information technology community, and the business units.
  • Staying up to date on the latest technologies while performing ongoing research and assessment within the Enterprise.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 10-15 years of relevant experience with enterprise architecture in a client context.
  • Prior experience of setting up enterprise architecture function
  • Prior experience of operating, participating, and running EA functions in mid to large organizations.
  • Knowledge of all components aligned with holistic enterprise architecture.
  • Experience in CPG industry.
  • Have executed as owner / participated in end-to-end transformation / digitalization initiatives at organization level.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal (presentations, seminars etc.) and written (reports, articles etc.)
  • Modelling and graphical representations and abstractions.
  • Effective decision-making skills (prioritization, trade-off analysis, etc.).
  • Proven ability to market results of architectural approaches through presentations (“selling” through presentations).
