Who we are looking for:

Our Supply Chain Team is looking for a Senior Director of Logistics for our Asia Pacific & Latin America (APLA) Geography to own the development of our strategic vision to support our rapidly evolving business. We need a leader who will also lead a culturally and geographically diverse team and operations located in Oregon, Japan, S. Korea, Southeast Asia and India, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, and Central & South America! There will be a strong emphasis on supporting Nike’s fast growing Digital (eCommerce) business with other focus areas including: International Transportation, Customs and Trade Compliance, Distribution Center Operations, 3PL Relationship Management and Contract negotiation, Last Mile delivery to our Consumers, Stores, and Wholesale Customers, Returns, and Environmental Sustainability!


What you will work on:

  • Lead a diverse team across multiple countries to effectively serve our consumers and customers in the most effective and efficient way possible.
  • Own and lead the strategic development of the APLA Geography Distribution Network both from an infrastructure, process, systems and organizational perspective.
  • Drive the strategic investment and innovation agenda to make sure we have the right capabilities in place to meet the needs of our consumers and customers in a sustainable manner.
  • Establish a collaborative mindset with your team to grow the end to end thinking, identify opportunities to reduce complexity, cut waste and to optimize our efficiency and effectiveness across functions in current operations.
  • Effectively plan and manage our financial budgets and portfolio.


Who you will work with:

  • Lead and secure the strategic alignment and highly effective collaboration with key stakeholder functions like the Commercial Teams, Marketplace Operations, Inventory Management, Territory leadership as well as the Global Functions and the enabling functions of Finance, HR, and Technology.

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a closely related field, MBA a plus
  • 10+ years of Retail Supply Chain Leadership experience
  • Enterprise thinking, end to end business knowledge
  • eCommerce Supply Chain Operations experience
  • Drive organizational alignment at senior level
  • Strategic innovative thinking. Ability to understand and translate company strategies and operational business needs into future capabilities and solutions
  • Strategy deployment: engage leadership teams to help translate the company strategy into their goals. Make sure we all operate one plan that is everybody's plan
  • Result Orientation. Drive results in a balanced way: serving our consumers and customer, efficiently and effectively, while engaging and growing our people in a safe environment.
  • Experience in large scale transformational change of transportation, warehouses and organizations to a lean way of working
  • Functional knowledge of key fulfillment planning areas: DC Operations, DC planning, Marketplace Operations, Transportation, Network Planning, Financial planning and execution
  • Knowledge of Logistics Technology landscape, affinity with innovative warehousing solutions
  • Mobilize teams to drive cross functional collaboration and create willingness to change
