Senior Digital Designer

Remote (United States)

The Senior Digital Designer possesses a high level of expertise in designing digital products, including HTML emails, website and landing pages, digital advertising banners, and social media assets. They excel at working both independently and in a group to deliver high-quality, contemporary designs to multiple audiences while following client brand guidelines, best practices, and providing best-in class service across all digital.


Responsibilites & Qualifications

Essential Functions

  • Use expert knowledge of cutting-edge techniques, trends and best practices to design a variety of high-visibility digital projects — from social media content, HTML emails, websites, landing pages, and banners, to presentations and data-visualizations. Design intuitive, elegant flows and experiences as well as low-to-high fidelity prototypes for mobile and responsive web solutions. Concept, design, and development of digital advertising and social media graphics including animated gifs. Consistently deliver fresh ideas and concepts across all digital mediums.
  • Ensure all work aligns with current accessibility standards and best practices.
  • Uses knowledge of digital communication platforms, including how the general public uses each one and the visual languages and tones on each; to contribute to digital strategy and planning initiatives.
  • Designs and constructs newsletters, automated emails, thank you pages and preference centers for a variety of ESP and automation platforms. In collaboration with the Digital Producers, organizes and coordinates all digital resources and assets required for email marketing campaigns including tests, rendering troubleshooting and other day-to-day email needs.
  • Design and update website pages using a CMS; some Wordpress/HTML/CSS coding knowledge preferred.
  • Interact with Project Management to plan project schedules and concept direction. Works with other designers, developers, copywriters, and channel & content strategists on a per email/campaign basis. Partners with teammates to evolve the work, solve problems and keep projects moving forward.
  • Reviewed and/or test all creative deliverables for quality and accuracy. Correctly catalog all creative deliverables and assets upon project completion.

  • Maintains accurate daily time sheets.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in design-related discipline or equivalent experience. Minimum five (5) years digital design experience in an agency environment preferred. Excellent online design portfolio that showcases a wide range of creative skills. Demonstrated expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (XD, Photoshop, Illustrator), Figma, and UI/UX fundamentals. Knowledge of HTML/CSS preferred. Video editing and 3-D software knowledge helpful.
  • Must be an outstanding performer demonstrating selfless leadership, showing initiative, and fostering environments that yield quality and quantity of individual and team performance. Must be able to multi-task and comprehend written and verbal instructions. Must be self motivated and able to work unsupervised at home or in the office. Must be dependable, punctual, and available to work overtime and weekends on short notice. Must be organized with excellent prioritization skills. Must have effective interpersonal skills.
