To help sustain our core value of teamwork with integrity and trust, we are looking for a dynamic Senior Manager, Ethics and Compliance, who will play a key role in designing, administering, and supporting Lenovo's global ethics and compliance program. The position reports into the Vice President, Deputy General Counsel and Chief Corporate Responsibility Officer.


Responsibilities and duties include:

  • Providing ethics and compliance advice to employees and business leaders globally, including advice on anti-bribery, anti-corruption, and other related legal requirements.
  • Managing the company's Third-Party Due Diligence program.
  • Performing assessment, analysis, monitoring, and reporting on compliance risks.
  • Developing and communicating compliance policies, processes, and controls.
  • Drafting and delivering engaging and effective compliance training, presentations, and communications on a global basis.
  • Supervising and independently conducting internal investigations.
  • Management of Lenovo's internal whistleblower hotline and other reporting channels.
  • Manage a global team of 4-5 direct reports.


Work Location: Raleigh, NC or Chicago, IL preferred; remote candidates considered

Position Requirements: Basic Qualifications

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience dealing with anti-bribery/anti-corruption issues or working as part of an ethics and compliance program
  • J.D. Degree
  • Current bar membership in the US


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Highest standard of ethics and professional integrity.
  • Ability and willingness to travel and work extended hours to communicate with global teams.
  • Project management experience, including the ability to manage a number and variety of mission-critical projects.
  • Team player and consensus builder who can effectively and efficiently collaborate and build relationships with employees and business colleagues both globally and across all levels of the organization.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as well as demonstrated ability in working closely with and advising senior executives of an organization.
  • Proven ability to achieve objectives within a complicated and matrixed organization.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple matters simultaneously with attention to detail.
  • Global experience highly preferred.
  • Prior experience managing people.
